SweetREVENGE
Tattoo artist Ryan Fitzgerald from Dayton, OH was hit with a $100,000 lawsuit last week by his ex-girlfriend Rossie Brovent. She claims that her boyfriend was supposed to tattoo a scene from Narnia on her back but instead tattooed an image of a pile of excrement with flies buzzing around it.
Apparently, Ryan found out that Rossie had cheated with a long-time friend of his, but instead of confronting her about it he acted like everything was normal and hatched a plan for revenge. Originally, Rossie tried to have Ryan charged with assault, but the ingenious tattoo artist had covered his bases by plying Rossie with wine and tequila shots and getting her to sign a consent form that stated the design was “at the artist’s discretion.”

SleeplessNights=ATragicLoss
A few posts ago, I couldn't sleep. I found out I wasn't the only one. A friend of mind who shared the same french press as me, was just as wired as I was. Turns out, it was a STRONG cup of coffee! And if you did read that post, you know that I was up all night, even when the cops came and blocked of the intersection near my house.
The next day, there is now a shrine. A young boy named Geoff Clairborne has a corner of the street dedicated to his loss.

TonightIDance
Tonight. For what ever reason. I can't sleep. And, here I am at 5 am, about to drift, all of a sudden I hear a handful of cop cars. My room immediately turns into a disco dance full of red and blue flashing lights. I couldn't tell ya what is going on. All I can see is my intersection blocked off. And with that, my chance to fall asleep.

I can't be 100% put out when the snow comes, when it is supposed to. So many times, for so many years, we can get snow in September. Even August! And so, it is into November. And for the first time living here in this apartment, I see snow outside of my windows.
I wonder if this will make work busy tonight or not?...

LetThereBeFire
Now that the weather is threatening to snow, the heat in my apartment has vanished. Such an old apartment, there is no true source of heat, except for a fireplace. I have been using a portable heater, but it is good for just about a single room, and it never seems to reach over 63 degrees. I finally got the gas turned on so I could utilize my fire place.
Once the gas was on... I had to go switch the valve. That included me climbing other gas meters in my dry clean only and 5 inch heels, to reach the #1 connected to my appartment. Once I was up there, with me free arm, I could twist the insanely tight valve open. TAH DAH! I did it!
And then, my fire place wouldn't start. Luckily for me, I was able to catch the maintenance guys on their way out. They came over and sat with me for about 30 min trying to get the gas to reach the pilot.
While doing so, they told me stories of how people commit suicides in the complexes that they work in. In my particular building, only one man has died in the actual appartment. Though they were telling me of other tennants. One particular gentleman who killed him self with a shot gun. It actually took three shots to get the job done. One was shot down ward, and blew through the ground into his sister's apartment below. She came up and reasoned with him for about an hour or so. After she left, two more shots up wards, almost killing the people watching t.v. above him, finally got the job done. The man in the plaid pictured above had to go identify the body. He explained there was hardly anything to look at. Nothing but a shot gun barrel holding up the remains of the mans jaw. After the body was removed from the scene, no one cleaned up the blood until three days later! When the man in the plaid was asked to do it, he was called to an emergency. So the man in the grey jacket pictured above got the lovely task of "Pulling the remains of his skull out of the ceiling.'' !
There is a happy ending to this gruesome tale. After 30 minutes of fascinating stories of past tenants, the fire kicked on, the glass was replaced, and I was left to watch Gossip Girl in peace with my animalistic slippers:)
