To successfully take you through a journey of the party, it will most likely be through the many many photos. So sit back and enjoy.
First:
I worked on a whimsical cake that took me two days late in the night to finish. I never had done a project like this before. And to my surprise, it was a success!
Then... tragedy struck.
On the way in the car, the heat from the sun soaking through the windows caused the frosting to warm and slide. I clicked on my hazard lights for my car in hopes to slow down and avoid any bumps that would cause it to fall. All for a cake. Poor North. He tried to save my cake baby. To no avail, it ended on his hands and in his lap.
Tears were tempting to burst down my face, but the situation was just too humorous they could quite come. We arrived to Caz* 's house and piled in cookies, a shifty cake, and good stories of the trip there.
Second:
We prepped the tea. We set up the tea cups. And help people arrive (Apparently, its harder to get to that we thought.)
"...just half a cup if you don't mind..."" 'Eat me'. Don't mind if I do."
The Queen's Royal Army
Come on guys. It's not that hard to get here.
Once everyone had arrived, the party began. I'm not sure if it was the tea, the sugar in the cake, or the exciting costumes but energy levels were high and conversations took fun and random turns.
Joey says I look good in corners.
What ever that means...
With everything going on, our minds turned to the only possible thing that could either A)Improve the party B)Be "Mad Hatter-ish" and C) Make a scene.
We lit the cake on fire.
With 40 Candles...
...and helping hands...
We successfully set the cake on fire.
The frosting bubbled, popped, and flamed.
Fire alarms went off.
And we still ate the cake...
On the good side of course.
