What a lovely birthday. And one I wasn't expecting.
Well, of course I was expecting a birthday, but I was working at both my jobs, and didn't even have much time to think about it. Let alone, how lovely it could be.
But it was.
It started with a good friend, at midnight, reminding me how much of a happy birthday it will be.
And then when I woke up, A beautiful breakfast with Mommy! We chatted, gossiped, watched birds scutter around and guzzle water.
I soaked up every bit I could. I milked my birthday for all it was worth!
This beautiful Chocolate Fudge Cake, accented with Peach and Fig was crafted by The Lilian Henrie.
And it is DELICIOUS!
I asked for a summer-like dinner for my birthday. My Mommy was so awesome, she took the theme from dinner, all the way into dessert! Not like one cake wasn't enough! Rice cakes with red dye to look like hamburger patties. And chocolate cup cakes with marshmallow toppers, decorated to be hot coals under the wire rack. Magnificent. Did I mention my family kicks ass?
I came into the house, and just "oohed" and "Awed" over this lamp! Come to find out, MOMMY BUILT IT! She had been collecting tea items for a month now, and drilled a hole for the cord, etc! I was completely amazed! And the best part... IT WAS FOR ME! MY BIRTHDAY PRESENT! I literally jumped up and down. And then up and down... and that continued for a few minutes. My excitement could barely be contained!
